at your recommended time, take a quick rinse (1–2 minutes max) using lukewarm water
no soap or hair products
use hands only (no washcloths or loofahs)
rinse until the cosmetic bronzer runs clear
pat dry gently and begin moisturizing with a spray tan–safe lotion
rapid tans:
the color will fluctuate, darker before rinsing, lighter after, and fully develop within 12–24 hours. trust the process. -
moisturize 1–2x daily with a gentle, spray tan–safe lotion
avoid products with mineral oil, heavy fragrance, or exfoliating ingredients

to extend your tan:
use a gradual self-tanner or tanning water
avoid excessive sweating (sauna, hot yoga)
limit soaking in pools and hot tubs
opt for lotion SPF over aerosol (less drying)
switch to low-support bras to reduce friction during exercise
when you’re ready to remove your tan, exfoliate with a mitt and book your next appointment

oversized lounge wear or pajamas
sandals or slip-on shoes
avoid:
tight clothing (leggings, jeans, bras, straps)
light-colored fabrics
boots or restrictive shoes
if it’s raining:
opt for uggs or closed-toe shoes
hoodie + long pants
bring an umbrella to stay dry
