Shade Collective was born from a personal journey. I'm Lindsay, an esthetician with a passion for safe, beautiful tanning. My story begins in my youth when my mom was diagnosed with multiple skin cancers. This pivotal moment sparked my dedication to skin health and led me to explore safer alternatives to achieve that sun-kissed glow.
Growing up, I struggled with traditional tanning methods due to my fair complexion. This challenge ignited my love for spray tanning and sunless tanning solutions. What started as a personal interest soon blossomed into a professional calling.
In 2020, I took a leap of faith and founded Shade Collective as a mobile spray tanning service. Armed with determination and a spray gun, I set out to bring confidence and radiance to clients across San Diego, one tan at a time.

From those humble beginnings, Shade Collective has flourished. We've expanded from a solo mobile operation to a thriving studio location in San Diego. Along the way, we've broadened our services to include spray tan training, sharing our expertise with aspiring professionals in the industry.
